Blog Love




Dicky Bird, who blogs at Dicky Bird's Nest and Ringle Harvest Day, recently blessed me with the Liebster award.  Thanks Dicky Bird!

According to the Google Translator, Liebster is German for favorite.  I'm so happy to be considered a favorite of someone!  And, I have several favorites of my own which is part of the rules of receiving a Liebster - you must share the love.

From what I understand, the Liebster is awarded to spotlight up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers.  Here are the guidelines a recipient should follow:

  1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.  (Check!)
  2. Reveal your top 5 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.  (See below-check!)
  3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.  (Check!)
  4. Have faith that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers.  (Keeping the faith!)
  5. And most of all - have fun!  (I do - Everyday!)

The Elliott HomesteadShaye at The Elliott Homestead.  Shaye has a great sense of humor, a beautiful family and is the reason I was able to find a local source for raw milk.
